LCVA’s decorative arts collection is comprised of objects that are functional as well as works of art. Decorative arts include ceramics, jewelry, furniture, textiles, wood and metal work.
Cole Collection
The Waverly Manson Cole Collection comprises more than 500 pieces of beautiful 19th-century Bohemian and European glass, English pottery and Meissen porcelain. Highlights from the collection previously were exhibited in the Cole Gallery located between Ruffner and Blackwell halls on the Longwood University campus and will be returned there after the completion of the Maugans Alumni Center.
Blanton Decorative Arts Collection
