Jack Blanton delighted in this parody of West End (area of Richmond) mores and bygone days when white-gloved ladies would ride the Westhampton 16 bus downtown to shop and have lunch at the Tearoom. The artist was an archivist at the Library of Virginia, versed in Virginia genealogy and known for the twinkle in his eye.
