Friends & Partners Event: The Voyage of Life Had a Life of Its Own

Friday, August 26, 2016 - 6:30pm

Our Friends & Partners have more than our sincere and heartfelt gratitude—they have the knowledge they have had a real impact on our community. As a gesture of thanks for believing in who we are and what we do, we are hosting a special LCVA Friends & Partners event with noted art historian and Thomas Cole scholar Dr. Paul D. Schweizer (Director Emeritus, Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute) Friday, 26 August 2016 at 6:30 pm in the Blackwell Ballroom in the Maugans Alumni Center of Longwood University. This special evening includes a talk by Dr. Schweizer followed by a champagne toast and cocktail reception in the Rotunda of Ruffner Hall.

There will be a shuttle available from 6:00-6:30pm to transport guests from LCVA to Maugans Alumni Center. The shuttle will also be available to take guests back to LCVA from 8:00-8:30pm.

Not a Friend or Partner yet? There is still time to join or renew before this event! Call 434.395.2251 or visit our Friends & Partners page to ensure a spot at this special event.
